A fight over the depository of the pickpocket gang ends in death

A man named Mansur (40) died after being beaten by two men in Tamansari, West Jakarta. The victim was abused by the two assailants who were friends of the pickpockets.

West Jakarta Subway Police Chief Kombes Audie S Latuheru said an emergency suspect was arrested in connection with the incident. Currently, his group is still chasing a friend from the ER with the initials DP who participated in the persecution of the victim.

“When ER was about to be arrested, he tried to fight the officers, the members then took firm and measured action by paralyzing the perpetrators with hot lead,” Kombes Audie S Latuheru said in his statement to reporters on Monday ( 9/21/2020).

Kapolsek Tamansari AKBP Abdul Ghafur explained that the chase was a pickpocket gang fight. The deadly fight was sparked by the offense of the victim, who felt that the suspect had wronged her.

On the other hand, the issue of depositing money also triggered the fight. The fight took place at Jalan Tamansari II, Tamansari, West Jakarta on September 4.
