It should be noted that the government has allocated Rs 37.7 trillion for wage subsidies with the goal of disbursing 15.7 million private workers and honorary employees earning less than Rs 5 million.

The amount of the salary subsidy that is distributed is Rs 1.2 million for each two-month transfer. This means that per month the potential beneficiaries of wage subsidies receive 600,000 IDR. Since this grant program lasts for 4 months, potential grant recipients will receive a total of 2.4 million IDRs by the end of 2020.

The criteria for salary subsidy candidates written in Permenaker Number 14 of 2020 include being registered with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, earning less than IDR 5 million, and having an active bank account number.

The requirements for BLT recipients of IDR 600,000 are Indonesian citizens, registered with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan as of June 2020, have salaries below IDR 5 million and have an active account as of June 2020.

From the process carried out so far, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has submitted 11.8 million data on potential beneficiaries of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan wage subsidies to the Ministry of Manpower in four stages, namely 2.5 million for the phase I; 3 million for phase II; 3.5 million for stage III; and 2.8 million for stage IV.
