Eddie Nketiah came close to hitting his Arsenal counterpart Dani Ceballos over the weekend. Now, the two of them make romance at games.

Arsenal in the first week of the 2020/2021 Premier League visited the Fulham headquarters on Saturday (12/09/2020). In this match the London Cannon won 3-0.

Prior to this victory there was commotion among the Arsenal players in the warm-up session, involving Nketiah and Ceballos. The two players participated by pushing each other twice in the rondo or “cat and mouse” session.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta had time to tolerate the incident although he admitted he did not see it first hand. He viewed the commotion among teammates as natural.

A week has passed since the commotion at the Fulham headquarters. Nketiah and Ceballos even forged a romance at Emirates Stadium when Arsenal hosted West Ham on Saturday (9/19/2020) WIB night.

The moment came in the 85th minute, at which point Ceballos faced the goalkeeper instead of giving an assist to Nketiah. The goal continued. Arsenal won by a score of 2-1, who previously took the lead through Alexandre Lacazette and was equaled by Michail Antonio.

Ceballos in this game played to the maximum. Nketiah only started playing in the 77th minute after replacing Lacazette.

Nketiah spoke of his scandal with Ceballos after the game against West Ham. The 21-year-old forward admits he was very upset with Ceballos, but they soon reconciled.

“He was a little upset with the entrance he made and obviously the reaction was visible there. But we recovered quickly, we apologized quickly and we continued, that’s what happens in life,” Nketiah was quoted as saying by Sky Sport.

“Very happy that you can help me today, so now it’s all about love!” he continued.

“I thought it was a good pass, a good view of him, and I was just trying to stay on my side and make sure I was behind the ball, so it was a pretty easy finish. It was a good assist from Dani (Ceballos),” Nketiah confirmed.
