The mystery of the death of First Brigadier Andry Budi Wibowo at Jalan Sapi Perah, Pondok Ranggon, East Jakarta, has been solved. The police investigation concluded that Andry was the victim of a hit-and-run.
This was revealed after the police conducted a cross-examination of witnesses and processed the crime scene (TKP) at the scene. The license plate of the car that was left at the scene of the incident became a clue for the police to discover the case.
“The victim of the National Police yesterday was (the victim) of a hit and run,” said on Friday (9/18/2020) the head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters at the Police Headquarters from Metro Jaya, Jakarta.
Yusri said this was revealed from the TKP results. Police found a clue that Brigadier Andry was the victim of a hit-and-run.
“At that moment we found a license plate on the TKP and an indication of his address there,” Yusri said.
From there, the police were finally able to track down the perpetrator who went on the run and turned out to be a TNI person. On Thursday (9/17), TNI personnel were arrested by a joint team of Polda Metro Jaya and POM TNI AD.
