KOMPAS.com – Valentino Rossi (Monster Energy Yamaha) has yet to show his deep fangs free practice (FP) 1 and 2 MotoGP Emilia Romagna.
The Emilia Romagna MotoGP FP1 and FP2 sessions took place at the Misano Circuit on Friday (9/18/2020) local time.
In FP1, Rossi broke out of the top 10, he was in position 017 with a time of 1 minute 32.832 seconds.
Then in FP2, in order, he managed to crawl. However, it is still outside the top 10.

The Doctor, nicknamed Rossi, is ranked 12th in FP2 with a time of 1 minute 32.263 seconds.
In reality, these results are not much different from last week’s San Marino MotoGP series compared to speed, even faster.
In the FP1 MotoGP San Marino, he registered a time of 1 minute 33.694 seconds (11th position). So FP2 is less with 1 minute 32.732 seconds (position 5).
This proves that Rossi’s claim is true regarding the speed increase of his competitors.

“My feelings are still good, but we have to work harder for the bike and we have to increase speed,” Rossi said in a video on the official MotoGP website.
“We have to find something to be stronger because we are all more competitive than last week,” he explained.
“Many riders improve their riding style and change the bike settings, so we have to find a way to be even faster,” explained Valentino Rossi.
The Doctor revealed that the MotoGP competition this season is really close with the change of riders occupying the main podium.

On the other hand, the 2020 MotoGP calendar is also tighter than previous seasons because it was delayed due to the pandemic.
“It is very difficult,” he said.
“Everyone is very strong in their improvement. And also physically, it is very difficult.”
“On Tuesday (9/15/2020) we had an important test session and lost several laps,” he explained.
“Looking at my age, I need a few days to rest,” joked the 41-year-old runner.

“However, we will keep trying to regulate it. I hope MotoGP will be more competitive this time,” said Rossi.
