Bripka Christin Batfeny (36), a member of the Papua Propam Police, was killed by a minibus on his way to his office in Jayapura. Jayapura City Police, AKBP, Gustav Urbinas, stated that the driver who hit Bripka Christin Batfeni was ED (31), who was the deputy regent of Yalimo.

He explained that the perpetrator did not have a driver’s license (SIM) or a vehicle registration certificate (STNK). When the incident occurred, the driver came from the direction of Jayapura and lost control so he entered the right lane where at that time the victim was using a motorcycle driving from the direction of Polimak.
As a result, the collision caused serious injuries and the Marthen Indey Hospital declared her dead.
From inside the perpetrator’s vehicle, evidence was obtained in the form of bottles and cans of liquor that they allegedly consumed.
The perpetrator is currently in hospital for further examination, including whether or not he used narcotics, Gustav said.

ED, who is the deputy regent of Yalimo, in the 2020 regional elections, is running as regent in pairs with Jhon Will.
The accident happened around 07.00 WIT on Wednesday (9/16/2020). The victim, who was wearing official clothing and using a motorcycle, was struck by a car driver traveling at high speed from Polimak.
