JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Labor Minister (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah confirmed that the stage III wage / salary subsidy has been disbursed to the 3.5 million workers who are entitled to receive according to the criteria of the 14th Labor Minister 2020.

In addition, the channeling bank channels the subsidized money directly to the beneficiary’s account, be it a state bank account or other private bank accounts.

Ida also emphasized that her party had no plans to obstruct the process of distributing wage subsidies.

“We are doing everything possible to process the disbursement of wage subsidies for co-workers. I emphasize that there is no effort by the Ministry of Manpower to prevent the distribution of this subsidy. However, we certainly have to work in procedurally in accordance with regulations, in essence for this program to be targeted. ” Ida said.

“Apart from that, we also continue to coordinate with the channel banks to streamline the transfer process to the recipient’s account. If there are any obstacles, together we will find a way out,” he continued.

In addition, in relation to the realization of the distribution, data from the Ministry of Manpower as of September 14, 2020 show that the distribution of subsidies for phase I and stage II has been given to 5.45 million recipients or 99.1 percent of the total recipients of 5.5 million people. For stage III, the realization will be seen in approximately the next two days.

He hopes that wage subsidy assistance can help economic power and be optimally utilized by workers / laborers. This assistance is also expected to reduce the burden on workers during a pandemic.
