JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The spokesperson for the Covid-19 Working Group (Satgas) Wiku Adisasmito stated that up to 23 regencies / cities in 11 provinces have red zone status (high risk) unchanged for three consecutive weeks.

This is an alarm for local governments in 23 districts / cities, as well as in all 11 provinces.

He added that regional chiefs, including area mayors, regents and governors, must work harder to change the status of the red zone in 23 districts / cities to an orange zone (moderate risk) or a yellow zone (low risk).

“Targets in these areas are reducing the number of daily cases, increasing the cure, and reducing the death rate,” Wiku continued.
