LONDON – Chelsea manager Frank Lampard admits he is concerned that he may lose two of his players in the game against Liverpool. The two players are Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic.
Lampard said Werner suffered a leg injury after colliding with Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Matthew Ryan. Meanwhile, Pulisic’s condition suffered a setback after training with the team.
In the 2020-2021 Premier League opening match, Chelsea successfully won a penalty after Ryan raped Werner. However, the user had a bad turn, because apparently Werner was in a little pain.
Although Werner played for 90 minutes, Lampard confirmed that the German passport had suffered a dead leg injury. However, Lampard also hopes Werner can still play Liverpool this weekend.
