Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

Gelora Party Vice President Fahri Hamzah | asked the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD pay attention to the preacher stabbing case Syekh Ali Jaber.

He also asked that the investigation process related to this case be opened to the public considering that the stabbing of Ali Jaber was a big problem.

“Please pay attention. If possible, open the test results. This is a big problem,” Fahri, @Fahrihamzah, tweeted, linking to Mahfud’s Twitter account, @mohmahfudmd, on Tuesday (9/15).

The former vice president of DPR RI also told Mahfud that the person in charge of declaring a person suffering from mental disorders, also known as loca, is only a psychologist or mental doctor.

According to him, the state of a person with mental disorders cannot be known only from the information of the family.

“To know that a person is crazy, do not ask his family and neighbors. Because it can be manipulated. But ask the association of psychologists and psychiatrists who are sworn in the task,” said Fahri.

Mahfud previously admitted that he simply did not believe that the perpetrator of Ali Jaber’s stabbing was a person with mental disorders.

“Speculation in the community is that based on his family’s admission, this piercer is mentally ill. But we don’t think so. We will know if he really is mentally ill or not after being investigated,” he said on his official Instagram, on Monday (9/14).

According to Mahfud, to conclude that the perpetrator of the attack was a person with mental disorders, it could also be proven by taking information from friends, neighbors and examining the fingerprints of the perpetrators.

Even so with Ali Jaber. He admitted that he did not believe the attacker had a mental disorder. According to him, the way he attacked the perpetrator was very well trained.

“I don’t think the perpetrator is crazy. The way he (the perpetrator) pursues his target is that I go to the most vital part (of life). In my opinion, this perpetrator is not a mental disorder because it was very brave and trained when he stabbed me, “Ali Jaber told reporters in Bandar Lampung, Monday (9/14).
