KOMPAS.com – The Indonesian U19 national team again received a normal part of Shin Tae-yong training after participating in the friendly tournament in Croatia.
The Indonesian U19 team is still in Croatia for training camp (TC).
On the TC agenda in Croatia, the Indonesian U19 team participates in a tournament entitled International U19 Friendly Tournament 2020.
In this event, Garuda Muda played three test matches and the result was two losses and a draw.
The Indonesian under-19 team beat Bulgaria (0-3) and Croatia (1-7), as well as the series against Saudi Arabia (3-3).

After participating in the 2020 U19 International Friendly Tournament, coach Shin Tae-yong gave the U19 national team time off.
However, as of Monday (9/14/2020), the Indonesian U19 team has returned to training.
Instead of light training, Shin Tae-yong immediately “pitched” the Indonesian U19 team. They received the exercise menu three times a day.
“After yesterday we closed the training to the players. Today is a normal training with high intensity,” Shin Tae-yong said, quoted on the PSSI website, on Tuesday (9/15/2020).
“The players continue to show positive progress and are always working hard,” added the South Korean tactician.

Meanwhile, team captain David Maulana admitted that he enjoyed every training menu provided by the technical team.
“The coach continues to hone our skills. Physical improvement, endurance are the main focus. Also, we must always be enthusiastic, work hard and focus,” said David Maulana.
The Indonesian U19 national team continues the TC agenda in Croatia, which is scheduled until the end of September.
They will also have a few more test matches, the closest will be against Qatar.
The Indonesian U19 team will meet Qatar twice, on September 17 and 20.

In addition, David Maulana and his colleagues will put the strengths of Bosnia-Herzegovina to the test (25 September) and Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb three days later.
The TC in Croatia is part of the preparation of the Indonesian U19 team for the U19 Asian Cup that was held earlier this year, as well as for the 2021 U20 World Cup.
