KOMPAS.com – The results of the 2020 San Marino MotoGP put Petronas Yamaha SRT rider Franco Morbidelli on the championship podium.
Franco Morbidelli won the 2020 San Marino MotoGP title after finishing fastest in the race held at the Misano Circuit, Italy, on Sunday (9/13/2020) WIB night.
Starting from second place, Franco Morbidelli successfully took the leading position from the first lap.
The Italian rider successfully maintained his leading position until he finally finished with a record time of 40 minutes 31.524 seconds.
Meanwhile, Valentino Rossi is Start Fourth year he managed to peek into fourth position from the start of the race.

The runner nicknamed The Doctor later competed with Franco Morbidelli, who led the race.

The veteran Yamaha rider was unable to compete with Ducati rider Francesco Bagnaia, who won second place.
Meanwhile, Valentino Rossi finished third, but then the Doctor was overtaken by Suzuki’s Joan Mir on the last lap.
Regarding Maverick Vinales as a contender pole position it is scattered in seventh place.
Four Yamaha riders have performed brilliantly since the San Marino MotoGP qualifying session by occupying the front four.
Maverick Vinales won pole position after recording the fastest lap time, 1 minute 31.411 seconds.
After Viñales, the second and third positions were occupied by the duo of pilots Petronas Yamaha SRT, Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Quartararo.
Morbidelli is entitled to second place after posting a lap time of 1 minute 31.723 seconds.

Quartararo is third with a lap time of 1 minute 31.791 seconds.
Meanwhile, Valentino Rossi finished fourth in the San Marino MotoGP qualifying session.
The San Marino MotoGP is the sixth race in the series this season to be held amid the corona virus pandemic.
Previously, five racing series had been held on the 2020 MotoGP agenda, namely the Spanish MotoGP, the Andalusian MotoGP, the Czech MotoGP, the Austrian MotoGP and the Styrian MotoGP.
After this, the competition for the riders will continue at Emilia Romagna MotoGP which will still be held at the Misano Circuit, Italy.
