Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan will implement large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) from September 14. This plan has had many downsides since it was announced on Wednesday (9/9). He will meet with the Chief of Task Force Covid-19 Airlangga Hartarto.
Will the total PSBB this time be exactly the same as at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic?
Anies explained that there were differences in the rules with the PSBB at the beginning of the Jakarta pandemic and those that will apply later. One of them is a local place of worship that is still open. At the beginning of the pandemic, Anies closed all places of worship without exception.
“I’ll tell you, for example, local places of worship can walk,” Anies said at City Hall in central Jakarta on Friday (September 11, 2020) quoted by detikcom.
He said that the content of the PSBB rules will be different. It only allows activities that actually apply the principles of health protocols.
“So actually there will be a tightening, but activities at the local level that apply the correct protocol principles are still allowed. So it is different when talking about content later,” Anies said.
“This will adjust which elements we allow and which we don’t,” he continued.
It also ensured that the 11 office sectors authorized to operate had not changed. He will discuss the matter in more detail on Saturday (9/12) with the coordinating Minister of Economy, Airlangga Hartarto, who is also the head of the working group.
“If the eleven remains. The eleven does not change because that is the key. Then the minister will discuss it, she will invite to speak, we respect it. That is why we will discuss it tomorrow,” he said.
