Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Mayor of Bogor Bima Arya revealed that there has been no agreement in the meeting between various regional heads of the buffer zone and the governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan, with respect to Total PSBB in the capital city.
At the meeting, Bima said, the regional chiefs of Jabodetabek asked DKI to coordinate with the central government to refine the concept and formulation of the PSBB Total.
“So actually there are no detailed steps from the governor, which have been transmitted to us. So the governor seems to have to coordinate with the central government on Saturday. Only then on Monday, the governor, will coordinate with us again,” Bima said by phone. to CNNIndonesia.com, Thursday (10/9) night.
Anies held a meeting with the heads of the buffer regions on Thursday (9/10), the day after he announced his plan to fully implement the PSBB in the capital. The meeting aims to ensure that there is policy synchronization between DKI and buffer areas to overcome the corona virus (Covid-19.
The meeting was attended by the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, the Governor of Banten, Wahidin Halim, Bima Arya and the regional chiefs of Bekasi, Bogor, Depok and Tangerang.
Bima, based on what was discussed at the meeting, considered that the total PSBB that Anies would implement in the capital did not have a clear plan.
“It is not clear from Jakarta itself. What kind of total PSBB is it? emergency shutdown total, that is what has not been clear. It still needs to be finalized. So once the concept is clear, we will coordinate again, “Bima said.
Bima said that the results of the meeting have yet to make any decisions, including the possibility that capital buffer areas will follow similar steps when implementing PSBB Total.
Due to this uncertainty, Anies was asked to coordinate with the central government. Coordination was supposed to take place on Saturday (9/12) morning, then continued with holding another meeting across Jabodetabek on Monday (14/9).
CNNIndonesia.com He has contacted the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, to confirm the results of the meeting with Anies, but a short message to him has not been answered. West Java Regional Secretary Setiawan Wangsaatmaja has also not responded.
DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria had a similar attitude. Riza has not responded to the text messages. CNNIndonesia.com on the results of yesterday’s coordination meeting.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of South Tangerang, Benyamin Davnie, will not yet participate in the DKI Jakarta provincial government to fully re-implement the PSBB.
“For the PSBB in Tangsel, it has been regulated in the Mayor’s Regulations, although it is not as strict as in DKI. It is still controllable,” Benyamin told CNNIndonesia.com on Thursday (10/9).
However, the government of the city of Bekasi (Pemkot), West Java, did not rule out the possibility of following the DKI Jakarta provincial government policy of re-implementing large-scale social restrictions (PSBB).
“The Bekasi city government will not rule out the possibility of doing something similar to DKI Jakarta, which toughens the PSBB,” Bekasi Mayor Rahmat Effendi said in a written statement.
PSBB is considered ineffective
Bima himself firmly refused to allow Bogor City to participate in PSBB Total as DKI. The reason for Bima was that the total PSBB taken by Anies was not effective in reducing the rate of Covid-19 cases.
The PAN politician said that his party had other concepts to face the spread of Covid-19 in the City of Rain. That method, namely, Social Restrictions at Micro and Community Scale (PSBMK) which is now being implemented in the city of Bogor.
Another reason for the refusal of the city of Bogor to consider the government budget. If several regions, especially in Jabodetabek, re-implement the PSBB Total, he is pessimistic that the central government has enough budget.
“Is the central government ready or not to provide additional social assistance? Is APBD ready or not? TNI-Polri ready or not? If it is not ready, it is not necessary,” Bima said firmly.
Anies announced on Wednesday (9/9) his plan to re-implement the PSBB in Jakarta. The PSBB, which will be fully implemented, she said, came into effect on September 14.
PSBB in total is Anies’ response to the alarming developments in the Covid-19 case in Jakarta. Anies said that positive Covid-19 cases and deaths have increased in recent weeks.
With the implementation of the full PSBB, the provincial government of DKI Jakarta plans to close again a number of public facilities, such as offices, entertainment or tourist places, restaurants, including places of worship.
The PSBB will fully restore Jakarta’s condition at the beginning of the pandemic, when Anies first implemented the PSBB on April 10. At that time, the PSBB in Jakarta was followed by a buffer zone.
Several public facilities were closed, school and office activities were carried out from home, transportation limited, and only 11 sectors were allowed to operate during the PSBB.
The Provincial Government of DKI only allows 11 business sectors, namely health, food, energy, information and communication technology, finance, logistics, hospitality, construction, public and industry, which are designated as national vital objects, and certain objects as well as daily necessities.
