Milan –
Sandro Tonali made his signing for AC Milan official. The young midfielder of the Italian national team will receive shirt number 8.
The certainty of Tonali was announced by Milan via its official website, on Thursday (10/9/2020) at the morning WIB. Tonali was loaned first to Brescia and Milan had to pay 10 million euros.
After that, Milan will pay another € 10 million which could increase to € 15 million, depending on performances throughout the season and also get 10 percent of Tonali’s future sales.
Tonali is hired until 2025 and will wear jersey number 8, which has been synonymous with Napoli coach Gennaro Gattuso.
“We are satisfied with Sandro’s arrival at AC Milan,” Milan general manager Ivan Gazidis was quoted as saying by the club’s official website.
“He is one of the talented young players. Sandro has shown his love for the club and knows what the club can be given for its future development. As long as he comes, Sandro!”
Sandro Tonali performed excellently during his time in Brescia with 89 appearances and six goals. His style of play has started to resemble that of Andrea Pirlo, a former Milan player who now manages Juventus.
Tonali is willing to ditch Inter Milan from the competition because he knows he is a true Milan fan. Although Tonali has reached an agreement with Inter since last April.
Tonali will be additional ammunition for Milan this summer. Previously Milan had retained Zlatan Ibrahimovic, then brought in Simon Kjaer, Brahim Diaz, Alexis Saelemaekers and Pierre Kalulu, and will reportedly land Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea.
