Cooperatives and SMEs Minister Teten Masduki said ultra-microentrepreneurs can still register with UKM cooperatives and agencies in their respective regions to become recipients of IDR 2.4 million Presidential Productive Assistance (Banpres).
He said, community enthusiasm was very high for this Banpres, so its distribution was continually accelerated.
“This Banpres is highly anticipated by micro-enterprise actors whose working capital is being used for household consumption costs because their income has decreased. We hope that they can still do business amid this COVID-19 pandemic,” Teten said to the ser contacted. detikcom, Wednesday (9/9/2020).
Contacted separately, the Finance deputy of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Hanung Harimba Rachman, revealed that the implementation of Banpres was very fast. Not even a month since its launch on August 24, realization has reached 62% from the initial stage for 9.1 million ultra-microentrepreneurs.
“The realization per day is up to 5,591,241 million micro-enterprise actors or about 62% of the initial stage of 9.1 million,” Hanung explained to detikcom.
By the end of this year, the government aims to distribute Productive Banpres to 15 million microenterprise actors. Therefore, Hanung asked people who had not registered as recipients to immediately go to the office of cooperatives and SMEs in each region attaching their KTP and their commercial certificate (SKU).
“So far it’s not closed, go ahead. People can still sign up. So people don’t have to worry, just sign up right away, don’t ask when it closes. Don’t wait after it closes, just hurry,” he explained.
