The number of recovered patients increased by 2,306, bringing the total to 142,958 people. The number of deceased cases reached 100 people so the accumulation reached 8,230 people.
The number of new cases is the result of tests on 32,643 samples that were completed today. In total, 489 districts / cities in 34 provinces have been affected by Covid-19.
“So, in the last three weeks there has been an increase in the number of cases and the regions have shown a higher risk of cases. This should be a concern for this condition to improve. There are 55 municipalities in 22 provinces that have changed their area from yellow to orange, “said the spokesman for the Management Working Group. Covid-19 Wiku Adisasmito.
Several areas that were previously at risk are entering the red zone. According to the records of the Ministry of Health, there are 29 districts / cities in 15 provinces.
“We also pay special attention to 3 provinces with high cases of East Java, West Java, DKI Jakarta,” he said.

The newest one, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) The United States (USA) issued a warning (Warning Level III) to the people of Uncle Sam’s country. The CDC called on the American public not to travel to Indonesia except in urgent circumstances.
This attraction cannot be separated from the high risk of contracting Covid-19 in the country. Also, according to the CDC, there are limitations in terms of Indonesian healthcare facilities.
“If you are infected in Indonesia and need medical treatment, the resources available are limited,” the CDC wrote quoted yesterday on its official website.

Meanwhile, responding to this, Wiku Adisasmito raised his voice. According to him, the world is still covered by the Covid-19 pandemic.
“So there is no country that is free from Covid-19, all countries would want to protect their people,” he said.
He also called on the Indonesian people not to travel between countries due to the possibility of “importing” the Covid-19 case.
“As long as we can maintain or limit population mobility between countries, that is our way of controlling cases well.” he said.
“We ask Indonesian citizens to monitor their respective areas, limit mobility and really implement health protocols so there are no cases of new additions. All facilities are limited, so that is the only way to protect the country.”
