KOMPAS.com – A teenager with the initials AF, a resident of Murtigading Village, Sanden District, Bantul, Yogyakarta, also got carried away while playing his kite.
The incident occurred on Friday (9/4/2020) afternoon.
According to the information collected, at the time of the incident, the victim and several colleagues were about to fly a kite at Murtigading Field.
The kite he made was in the shape of a dragon with a length of about 50 meters.
When I was about to be tested to fly with a friend, it was noticed that there was a strong wind.

Due to these conditions, the kite finally began to fly.
Unfortunately, the victim who was in charge of pulling the rope to fly the kite could not contain himself.
As a result, it was carried flying up to three meters high.
The victim eventually fell after the kite string was cut.
Mayungan I Hamlet boss Marjana, when confirmed, confirmed the incident.
“Yes, that’s right, last Friday after Friday prayers around 1pm WIB,” he explained when contacted by Kompas.com by phone on Monday (7/9/2020).
“It just so happens that it’s kite season so the kids were done and they want to try it, you know, then fly 10 feet high,” he added.
The victim is hospitalized
.According to Marjana, after the victim’s fall, the neighbors immediately took him to the hospital.
As a result of the incident, the victim was known to have sustained injuries to his wrists and hips.

At present, he continued, the victim is still being treated at PKU’s Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital for medical treatment.
“Currently he is still in the hospital,” he said.
