Jakarta –
BPJS Ketenagakerjaan revealed that there were 1.6 million account numbers that were denied assistance of 600 lakhs / month in the form of subsidized wages / salaries. This is because after being verified, the owner of the account number does not meet the criteria as a potential beneficiary.
The BPJS Ketenagakerjaan itself performs the validation before sending the account number data of the potential beneficiaries to the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker).
BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Deputy Director for Public and Interagency Relations Irvansyah Utoh Banja explained that if the owner of the account number is found not to meet the criteria, it will automatically not be included in the list of beneficiaries.
“The participant data is not valid because it does not match the criteria established in the referred Permenaker, so the account number is not automatically included in the list of beneficiaries of BSU (salary subsidy). The account data number of the disabled participant reaches 1.6 million people, “he said. to detikcom, Monday (7/9/2020).
He explained why something like this could happen because the company or employer recorded all of their workers’ account numbers, regardless of whether any of them did not meet the criteria.
“Some employers or companies submit all employee account numbers, not just those that meet the criteria,” he said.
There are also other factors that make the account number deposited with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan valid. But as long as the cause is not that the account holder does not meet the criteria as a potential beneficiary, it will be re-validated.
In this case, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (BPJAMSOSTEK) will return the account number data to the company for repair.
“BPJAMSOSTEK will return the account number data to the participating companies to reconfirm, if the cause is not due to incompatibility with Permenaker 14/2020,” he added.
