“We urge employers or companies to generate communication and dialogue with workers about data from workers’ accounts,” Ida said in an official statement from the Ministry of Manpower on Monday (7/9/2020).

It hopes that the employing company, in this case HRD, so that its employees who receive a monthly salary of less than 5 million IDR can obtain the right to subsidize the salaries of the employees.

“To ensure that there are no errors in the reporting of accounts to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. So that the distribution of salaries or salary subsidies is correct,” Ida explained.

The government has disbursed the first stage of the Rs 600,000 wage subsidy in BPJS assistance since August 27, 2020. Disbursement of employee wage subsidies (BLT BPJS) will be carried out gradually until the end of September.

For information, during the first phase of BLT disbursement, the BPJS BLT program was not fully received by workers earning Rs 5 million per month.

Ida explained that workers who receive wage subsidies from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan do not have to have an account at state banks, but rather an account that is still active at any bank.

“The government bank is just an aid distributor, the wage subsidy aid is then transferred according to the recipient worker’s account number,” Ida explained.

The BLT government assistance disbursement through this account is granted to workers / laborers in the amount of Rp.600,000 per month for four months for a total of Rp.2.4 million, and BPJS assistance is disbursed in two Disbursement stages of Rp.1.2 million each.
