jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The PDI-P DPP confirmed that the Mulyadi-Ali Mukhni couple had returned the party’s recommendation to advance in the 2020 West Sumatra Pilgub.
PDI Perjuangan sees the footsteps of the couple, especially Mulyadi, as showing a leading candidate who is weak and not in line with Minang’s national figures in the past.
“From the beginning, I suspected that Mulyadi was not strong in his attitude as a leader, so he could easily waver in the dialectic of ideology. Although what Mbak Puan Maharani conveyed is a hope that West Sumatra will be much better, as history has recorded it in golden ink, “PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said in a statement received on Sunday ( 9/6).
Hasto explained that the pioneering work of West Sumatran heroes such as Moh Hatta, KH Agus Salim, Mohammad Yamin, Rohana Kudus, HR Rasuna Said, Moh Natsir, and Tan Malaka were national fighters. They, Hasto said, are good learners and become role models for all the party’s cadres.
Meanwhile, Mulyadi’s attitude, Hasto continued, is very understandable, because power politics for those who are not solid in principle, only become a means of popularity. “For PDI Perjuangan to become a leader, it must be strong and strong as a rock when facing the waves, especially when it comes to Pancasila,” Hasto said.
Hasto emphasized that PDI Perjuangan’s commitment to Pancasila and West Sumatra’s progress has never waned. He realized that something different had happened in West Sumatra in the last ten years.
“Even though Pak Jokowi and PDI Perjuangan lost in the 2014 and 2019 elections, we always encourage Pak Jokowi to go often to West Sumatra and build West Sumatra without exception. Will the people of West Sumatra be grateful? That is the umpteenth number. Importantly, the party’s attitude towards West Sumatra has not changed because the province has contributed to Indonesia’s extraordinary pioneering independence. That is why it is imperative that Pak Jokowi and PDIP cadres support West Sumatra’s progress “he explained.
PDIP, Hasto continued, is really very impressed with West Sumatra. Only from the Malay language, history records how since 1928, it was used by a small part of the Indonesian people to communicate. Then the language could be accepted as a unified language, a national language, and accepted by all ethnic groups to become the unified language of Indonesia.
Also, Hasto added, Padang food is widely accepted throughout Indonesia. It is openly accepted and the Indonesian people make it the national food. This phenomenon supposedly made Mulyadi more receptive to input, and he hopes that West Sumatra’s pioneering cultural capital will be more Pancasila.
“What Mbak Puan transmitted was part of the ideological dialectic and it was transmitted well, with the pronunciation of bismillah. So let’s look objectively and proportionally, and stay away from the dynamics of the Pilgub, “Hasto explained. (tan / jpnn)
