LONDON – Chelsea showed their financial strength in the 2020 summer transfer market. The Blues, nicknamed Chelsea, bought six players, namely Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Malang Sarr, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and most recently Kai Havertz.
However, there are players who do not like Chelsea’s transfer activities. This is because two new recruits were bought to compete for the same position as him. The player who maintained that dislike was Mason Mount.
Bild reports that Mount is unhappy with the arrival of Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz, who will compete with him for the offensive midfield position in Chelsea’s first team. Mount may not want to sit on the bench in the 2020-2021 season after having almost always been the first choice before.
Mount enjoyed his journey with Chelsea in the 2019-2020 season. The Englishman played in 53 Chelsesa games with a score of eight goals and six assists.

Judging from the playing positions of the two new players last season, Mount’s main competitor is Havertz. This is because the German player spent most of last season at Bayer Leverkusen as an attacking midfielder. Meanwhile, Ziyech has often played on the right wing at his former club, Ajax Amsterdam.
