JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – BPJS Ketenagakerjaan or BP Jamsostek ensure that potential recipients of wage subsidy assistance (BSU) or wage subsidies, claiming Old Age Security (JHT) from July 1 to September 2020, are still entitled to this assistance .
This was relayed by the CEO of BP Jamsostek Agus Susanto when asked by Kompas.com about the short message service or short message service (SMS) from BP Jamsostek to potential wage subsidy recipients.
“They are still entitled to receive BSU because as of June their membership status is still active,” he told Kompas.com on Sunday (9/6/2020).

Agus said, BP Jamsostek sent information by SMS and email to participants in the agency fees.
The message said that if a participant who no longer works in a registered company, but the membership status is still active until June 2020, he is still entitled to receive wage subsidy assistance.
“That is why BP Jamsostek took the initiative to send this information to each participant via SMS and email, so that they record bank account numbers and other data so that they can receive the help of the wage subsidy,” said Agus.

Previously, the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) had completed data collection on 3 million pieces of data on potential recipients of Stage II wages / wage subsidies.
In the Regulation of the Ministry of Labor (Permenaker) No 14 of 2020, it is established that the requirements for workers who can receive subsidized wages / salaries.
It includes Indonesian citizens who are wage earning workers, are registered as active participants of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, wages reported to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan below 5 million IDR and have active accounts.
Meanwhile, the number of wage / salary subsidies for phase I that have been successfully distributed to beneficiaries is 2,310,974 or 92.44 percent of the total 2.5 million beneficiaries.
