KOMPAS.com – Liverpool beat Blackpool in a friendly match ahead of the 2020-2021 season.
The Liverpool vs Blackpool match that took place at Anfield Stadium on Saturday (9/5/2020) ended with a score of 7-2.
Liverpool, as a local team, fell 1-2 in the first half.
A pair of Blackpool goals came from the action of CJ Hamilton (15 ‘) and Jerry Yates (43’).
However, Liverpool was able to come back with seven goals from Joel Matip (43 ‘), Sadio Mane (52’), Roberto Firmino (54 ‘), Harvey Elliott (69’), Takumi Minamino (71 ‘), Divock Origi (85 ‘)) and Sepp van den Berg (88’).

Liverpool as a whole were able to dominate the game against Blackpool, the Premier League’s third caste club.

This time, it was Roberto Firmino who became the main protagonist of Liverpool’s third goal.
Firmino scored by maximizing the horizontal cross sent by Takumi Minamino from the left side of the Blackpool defense.
Liverpool’s goal didn’t stop there. They then added four goals thanks to the actions of Harvey Elliott (69 ‘), Takumi Minamino (71’), Divock Origi 85 ‘) and Sepp van den Berg (88’).
