FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – West Sumatra’s candidate for governor and deputy governor Mulyadi-Ali Mukhni is beginning to think about restoring support for the PDIP party.

It is suspected that there was a controversy over the statement of the president of the PDIP DPP, Puan Maharani, which was considered offensive to the people of West Sumatra.

The news of the return of support belonging to the white-nosed bull party was transmitted directly by the deputy for Affairs and Narrative of the Strategic Communication Agency of the DPP of the Democratic Party, Cipta Panca Laksana.

“I just called the West Sumatra cagub @irhmulyadi and I suggest returning the support of the PDIP. In principle, he agrees with my suggestion,” Panca wrote on his Twitter account on Friday (4/9/2020).

Panca said the Mulyadi-Ali candidate couple did not want the controversy made by Puan Maharani to generate negative feelings about the upcoming West Sumatran Pilkada.

“Hopefully there is a mechanism to return support like that. To give a negative effect. After all, the support of PD and PAN is enough,” he said.

Another Democratic cadre, Syahrial Nasution, responded to the plan to return support to the PDIP. “Ugh … great,” Syahrial replied to Cipta Panca’s tweet.

In another charge, Syahrial asked the PDIP to be wiser in apologizing to the residents of Minang for the statements made by PDIP presidents general Megawati Soekarnoputri and Puan Maharani.

“The PDIP, who should be wiser, apologized for the offense of the Minang people in the Puan statement. If you get it wrong, just admit it. There is no need to expand to include narrative and other elements that give rise to new problems. Yes West Sumatra people are not satisfied with the PDIP, touch their heart, ”he asked.
