“For how many (total) bodies, maybe a thousand or two thousand bodies can still be,” he said.

Meanwhile, Nadi, as the manager of Pondok Ranggon TPU, said there were 1,100 holes left to bury Covid-19 exposed patients who died as of Friday (4/9/2020).

“Our land for Covid-19 is still 1,100 graves for Muslims and non-Muslims,” ​​said Pondok Ranggon TPU team commander Nadi (47) in Jakarta.

Nadi predicts that the rest of the burrow will be exhausted in less than two months.

He calculated that the average number of bodies of Covid-19 victims buried in August 2020 ranged from 27 to 28 bodies per day.

The remaining 1,100 burrows are located in an area of ​​7,000 square meters on the south side of the TPU.

Since the Pondok Ranggon TPU area was used to accommodate the bodies of Covid-19 patients in March 2020, eight blades for burrows have so far been opened.

From March to the end of August 2020, Nadi said, officers had buried 2,623 bodies.

“We use bladder 91 to 99, except bladder 97 which is used for the general public. For different amounts, one bladder can be used for 240 bodies, there are also 300 bodies,” he said.
