jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Bareskrim Polri rejected the report made by the Minang Student Youth Association (PPMM) to the PDI-P DPP president, Puan Maharani, on Friday (4/9).

The researchers declined because they thought the report did not meet the elements.

“Our presence here is well received, we have a very tough discussion. However, in conclusion, our report does not meet the elements, ”PPMM President David said on Friday at the National Police headquarters, Jakarta.

David admitted that he did not object to the police rejecting his report.

This is because it is the duty of the police and he, as an Indonesian citizen, only uses his right to take legal action by making a complaint.

“We, as citizens, only have the duty to inform. Whether it is prosecuted or not, that is the right of the police. We are sure that professional police officers agree with the promoter’s motto and are balanced when they see this situation ”, he said.

David explained that in the report, he had brought a series of evidence, such as a flash disk containing a recording of Puan’s voice from YouTube, then an online media screenshot related to Puan’s statement that was deemed offensive to the people of West Sumatra and various other attachments.

“So, we have revised the articles, namely article 310 KUHP, article 311 KUHP, article 27 paragraph (3) of the ITE Law,” he explained.
