Suara.com – The Criminal Investigation Agency of the National Police Headquarters rejected a report from a group acting on behalf of the Minang Youth Student Association on Friday (4/9/2020).

This group denounced Puan Maharani because his words were considered offensive to the people of Minangkabau. Puan’s words that were deemed offensive were when he expressed his hope that West Sumatra will become a province that supports the state of Pancasila.

“In conclusion, our report does not meet the elements. The report is not accepted because it does not meet the elements,” he said on Friday (4/9/2020).

Although police rejected the report, the group said it was not disappointed. Because they still have other shapes. They plan to file a complaint against Puan, the leader of the PDI Perjuangan who is also the president of the DPR, before the Chamber’s Honorary Tribunal on Monday or Tuesday of next week.

“What is clear is that if they reject me, I am not tired, there are steps after this we will go to the MKD,” he said.

David and his friends visited the Police Criminal Investigation Unit around 2:56 pm WIB. They wore black T-shirts with the words “West Sumatra PDI-P (Pancasila Special Region Province) Do not hesitate West Sumatra in keeping Pancasila.”

“So we are here to make legal efforts as good citizens that we report to Bareskrim,” David said.

Initially, they wanted to denounce the woman under articles 310, 311, 27 paragraph 3 of the Law on Information and Electronic Transactions and article 14, 15 of Penal Code Number 1 of 1946.

They brought a series of evidence to support the report, including flash drives containing voice recordings of Puan’s statements, screenshots of his statements in various media.

David emphasized that this legal step was taken to represent the voice of the Minangkabau people.

“There is nothing to do with politics. This is simply a message from my mamak in the town, ‘Please make our voices heard that the town is already volatile,'” he said.

The group originally awaited direct clarification from Puan on this statement. However, up to 1 x 24 hours, no clarification appeared.

“If I apologize to the media, we hope that the Minang nation will once again be a forgiving nation, upholding the brotherhood,” he said.

Hoping to support the state of Pancasila

Puan’s statement came when he announced the party’s recommendation for the election of the West Sumatran governor of his mother’s home, Megawati Soekarnoputri, Jalan Teuku Umar, Central Jakarta.

PDI Perjuangan mentions the Democratic Party cadre, Mulyadi, as a candidate for governor along with Ali Mukhni, who is currently the regent of Padang Pariaman.

Puan expressed hope that West Sumatra can become a province that supports the state of Pancasila. “May West Sumatra become a province that does support the state of Pancasila, bismillahirrohmanirrohim. Freedom,” said Puan.

After the statement became a hot political issue, PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto explained that Puan’s statement was right.

“What Ms. Mbak wants to say and as all party cadres remember how Pancasila is buried not only in West Sumatra but also in East Java, throughout the Republic of Indonesia, Pancasila should be buried, Ms. Mega is So impressed with West Sumatra, so was Ms. Mbast, “Hasto said. in a virtual press conference.

Hasto emphasized that Puan’s statement was not intended to offend the people of West Sumatra, but to support Pancasila in the context of culture and nationalism.

“So what is meant by the settlement of Pancasila in West Sumatra refers more to the aspects of culture, nationalism, as well as touching things in the life of the society, the nation and the state,” he said.
