jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The reaction of the people of West Sumatra (West Sumatra) who threatened to take action in relation to the statement made by the president of the PDIP DPP Puan Maharani when announcing the pairs of candidates for governor and lieutenant governor, was considered reasonable.
When the West Sumatra cagub-cawagub announcement, Puan Maharani had said “I hope that West Sumatra becomes a province that really supports the state of Pancasila.”
According to the University of Andalas (Unand) professor Prof. Dr. Gusti Asnan, Puan’s statement is sensitive to the Minang people.
Naturally, if some Minang interpret West Sumatra as not supporting Pancasila.
“Therefore, the statement of Puan Maharani for the Minang people is considered to be lacking or not supporting Pancasila. Such expressions are very painful,” Professor Asnan said on Hersubeno channel uploaded on Friday (4/9).
He continued, Puan’s sentence that was pronounced intentionally or not was an accusation.
The statement that a person or group of people lacks Pancasila or is not very dangerous.
So Asnan said, it would be very appropriate if there was a reaction from the people of West Sumatra or Urang Awak, because they were accused of not having Pancasila or lacking Pancasila.
