JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Minister for Cooperatives and SMEs (Menkop UKM) Teten Masduki aims to distribute 100% Productive Presidential Assistance (Banpres) or Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) of IDR 2.4 million to micro-entrepreneurs by the end of September 2020.

It said that as of September 3, 2020, the BLT distribution for UMKM was only 61.02 percent of the determined target.

“We are aiming for 100 percent by the end of September and yesterday in stage V, the Banpres Productivo was distributed to 2,676,057 microentrepreneurs,” he said when contacted by Kompas.com, on Thursday (3/9/2020 ).

Cumulatively from stages I to V, the total number of microentrepreneurs who have received BLT UMKM reaches 5,591,204 microentrepreneurs, with a total budget of Rs 13.4 trillion.

Teten said that micro-entrepreneurs can still get this help by filing or registering with the Head of the Regency / City Cooperative Office for Small and Medium Enterprises (Kadiskop UKM) in their respective regions.

Microenterprise actors who have received notification that they have been selected for assistance are asked to immediately go to the bank and confirm or make the disbursement.

This is because if the microentrepreneur does not immediately reach the bank within 3 months after the funds are delivered, the government will withdraw them.

Meanwhile, Hanung Harimba Rachman, financing deputy of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, said that the process of withdrawal or disbursement of these funds cannot be represented by anyone and must match the name that has been registered.

“At the time of presentation, the name of who will be registered is registered. Now, when they officially declare themselves as the recipient of the assistance, the microentrepreneur must go to the designated bank and those who take it or withdraw it should not be represented according to what is in the data, “he said.
