JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The number of patients infected with the corona virus or Covid-19 in Indonesia continues to grow.
According to government data that entered until Thursday (3/9/2020) at 12.00 WIB, 3,622 positive COVID-19 patients were registered in the last 24 hours.
This figure is the highest increase since President Joko Widodo announced the first case of Covid-19 on March 2.
Therefore, the number of cumulative Covid-19 cases in Indonesia is now 184,268 people.

According to Kompas.com records, the previous highest record for adding daily patients occurred on Saturday (8/29/2020) with 3,308 people.
The day before, Friday (8/28/2020), there was also the incorporation of a high number of daily patients, that is, 3,003 new cases.
Then on Wednesday (8/27/2020) there was also a record increase in the number of highs with 2,719 new cases.
New cases of patients with positive confirmation of Covid-19 are distributed in 33 provinces. From these data, there were five provinces with the highest addition of new cases.
The five DKI provinces are Jakarta (1,359 new cases), East Java (377 new cases), Central Java (242 new cases), West Java (238 new cases), and Bali (174 new cases).

Meanwhile, the general transmission of Covid-19 has so far occurred in 488 districts / cities of 34 provinces.
Also, there is a province where there have been no new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, namely Jambi.
The daily increase came from examining 37,597 specimens in the last 24 hours.
A total of 37,597 specimens were taken from 19,306 people. A person may be taken or examined for samples more than once.
The examination figure also exceeded the sample examination target set by President Joko Widodo of 30,000 samples in one day.

According to Kompas.com records, on Wednesday (2/9/2020), the government examined 31,001 specimens per day.
Then on Tuesday (9/1/2020), the government examined 30,625 specimens. Meanwhile, on (8/31/2020) there were 15,305 copies.
Altogether, the government has examined 2,338,865 specimens from 1,353,291 people.
