jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Polda Metro Jaya’s head of public relations, Police Commissioner Yusri Yunus, revealed that one of the suspects who organized a gay sex party at an apartment in Kuningan, South Jakarta, was HIV positive.
“Among the nine organizers there is one who has HIV, but I cannot mention it here,” Yusri Yunus said at the Mako Polda Metro Jaya on Wednesday.
In relation to this, the Police have coordinated with the health team to carry out medical examinations on all the participants who attended the event.
Then we will coordinate with the health team to review everything, ”said Yusri.
Additionally, Yusri said that suspects who are HIV positive will be placed in a different holding cell than other suspects.
Not only that, the police also conducted a rapid COVID-19 test on 56 people who were arrested and the results showed that 56 people did not react.
“The 56 people we have secured have undergone rapid tests, all of them are non-reactive,” Yusri said.
Investigators at Polda Metro Jaya have named nine people as suspects after raiding a same-sex (homo) party that took place in an apartment in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on August 29, 2020.
