jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati (SMI) sees the DPR Complex, Senayan, Jakarta as her second office as state treasurer general in the discussion of state finances.

SMI revealed this during the DPR plenary session on the agenda of the Government Response to the Faction’s General Views on the Fiscal Year 2021 State Budget Bill and its Financial Notes in the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, on Tuesday (1/9).

Earlier, the former World Bank official who was intimately named Ani congratulated the Indonesian Parliament on its 75th birthday on Saturday, August 29, 2020.

According to Ani, 75 years is a relatively long life to maintain the trust of the people, which represents the aspirations of the people, as a manifestation of a clean and modern Indonesian democracy.

“The Senayan DPR complex feels like my second office as the general object of the state in the formulation and discussion of various policies in the field of state finances,” Ani said to the applause of DPR members who participated in the plenary session.

Ani explained that DPR, as a partner and supervisor of the government in drafting regulations and accountability for government performance, has established excellent collaboration.

Any policy must always have a quality reinforcement that represents the interests and aspirations of the people.

Control of the DPR is a manifestation of Pancasila democracy, which is the mandate of the nation’s founders.
