JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – BPJamsotek (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) has submitted 3 million data on workers who are potential beneficiaries of wage subsidies or wage subsidies (BSU) to the Ministry of Manpower in accordance with the agreement for the second stage of this distribution.

“Of the target of 15.7 million BSU grantee candidates, 14.2 million account numbers have currently been collected and have been layered validated in up to three stages, until the number of validated data reaches 11.3 million. Of these, we have sent. a total of 5.5 million participant data in two stages, “said BPJamsostek President and Director Agus Susanto in a written statement on Tuesday (9/1/2020) .

Agus explained, there are two alternate actions for worker account numbers that do not pass BPJamsotek’s multiple validation.

The first alternative is that BPJamsostek will return the account number data to the participating companies to reconfirm, if the cause is not due to a breach of the Ministry of Labor Regulation (Permenaker) Number 14 of 2020.

The second alternative is that if the participant’s data does not match the criteria established in the Permenaker, the account number will not automatically be included in the BSU recipient list. The number of invalid participant account data reached 1.6 million people

“We continue to encourage companies or employers to immediately submit eligible participant account number details, and the deadline will be extended to September 15, 2020. We also hope that the company will expedite the process of sending reconfirmed data, “he said.

Previously, on August 24, BPJamsostek had submitted 2.5 million pieces of data on worker candidates for wage subsidies to the Ministry of Manpower.

Then, on August 27, President Joko Widodo began launching the relief program.

The requirements for BSU beneficiaries, i.e. Indonesian Citizens (WNI), as evidenced by NIK, are registered as active participants of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan as evidenced by a membership card number.

In addition, participants also pay contributions in the amount of the contributions that are calculated on the basis of salaries less than 5 million IDR based on salaries reported to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

For your information, the government has budgeted IDR 37.7 billion for wage subsidies that are distributed to 15.7 million private workers (Non-BUMN / BUMD and Non-PNS) worth IDR 600,000 per month for 4 months.

Using these criteria, the worker must earn less than IDR 5 million and be active as a BPJamsostek participant until June 30, 2020.
