KOMPAS.com – Yamaha is expected to revolutionize in technical terms as soon as possible after the transfer of Valentino Rossi to the satellite team.
MotoGP observer Carlo Pernat expressed this hope.
Several technical problems that plagued Yamaha at the beginning of this season caught Pernat’s attention.
He stressed that the breakthrough Yamaha has made in removing Rossi from the factory team is not enough if you want to be successful in MotoGP next season.

After revolutionizing the composition of the riders, the Italian hopes that Yamaha will also make changes in technical matters, especially after seeing the performance of the bike this season.
“Yamaha has made a revolution from the driver’s side, signing contracts for Fabio Quartararo, Maverick Vinales and Franco Morbidelli (Petronas Yamaha),” said Carlo Pernat. BallSport of GPOne.
“However, that is not enough, they have to revolutionize the technical aspects as well,” he continued.
As if understanding Valentino Rossi’s complaints, Pernat also conveyed his belief that Yamaha bikes were not capable of leading their riders to become world champions.
“This is no longer a problem for cyclists, I want to defend Valentino Rossi from these accusations,” said Pernat.
“With their current M1 bike, they can never be world champions in a normal season, every time there is a different problem, there must also be a problem with the engine,” explained Pernat.
Yamaha still can’t breathe a sigh of relief to navigate the 2020 MotoGP competition following the results of two riders from their factory team (Monster Energy Yamaha), Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales.
Both Rossi and Viñales continued to experience ups and downs in performance on the YZR-M1 motorcycle until the end of the fifth round of MotoGP 2020 at the Red Bull Ring.

Technical limitations still stained the Japanese team’s journey when Rossi’s motorbike suddenly died as he faced the 2020 Spanish MotoGP race at the Jerez Circuit.
Not only Rossi, Viñales was also disappointed by a technical problem in the form of brakes.
The faulty brake function on the YZR-M1 motorcycle forced Vinales to fall off his motorcycle while traveling at a speed of 230 km / h in the main race of Styria MotoGP 2020. (Agung Kurniawan)
