JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government updated the information on the development of daily Covid-19 cases on Monday (8/31/2020).
According to data shared by the Covid-19 Management Task Force, there were 2,743 new cases of confirmed positive patients for Covid-19.
The data is calculated from 12.00 WIB on Sunday (8/30/2020) to 12.00 WIB on Monday.
So in total there are 174,796 positive cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia to date.

The number of additions was obtained from the results of the examination of 15,535 samples in the last 24 hours.
Based on these data, new cases of patients with positive confirmation of Covid-19 are distributed in 27 provinces.
From these data, there were five provinces with the highest number of new cases, the five of which were DKI Jakarta (1,049 new cases), East Java (323 new cases), Central Java (179 new cases), West Java (145 new cases) ) and Bali (129 new cases).
Meanwhile, the general transmission of Covid-19 has so far occurred in 488 districts / cities of 34 provinces.
In addition, there are seven provinces where there were no new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
The seven provinces are West Kalimantan, Gorontalo, Jambi, Bangka Belitung, Bengkulu, Papua, NTT.
