JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia is still happening, it can be seen in the increasing number of cases.
As of Sunday (8/30/2020) at 12.00 WIB, the accumulated positive cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia reached 172,053 cases. In the last 24 hours, 2,858 new cases were registered.
This information is based on data that the Covid-19 Management Working Group (Satgas) shared with journalists on Sunday afternoon.
Of the total new cases, DKI Jakarta province recorded the largest increase in cases. Between August 29 and 30, 2020, there were 1,094 new cases in the Indonesian capital.
This figure brings the number of cases in Jakarta to 39,037.

Then there are five other provinces that have seen the addition of new cases numbering in the hundreds.
The province of East Java reported 466 new cases in one day, bringing the total to 33,220 cases.
Then followed by East Kalimantan (197 new cases), Central Java (138 new cases), Riau (134 new cases) and West Java (103 new cases).
On the other hand, the government also pointed out that there were four provinces that had no new cases.
The four provinces are Jambi, Thousand Islands, Central Sulawesi, and Gorontalo.

13. South Sumatra: 40 new cases
14. North Sumatra: 39 new cases
15. South Sulawesi: 29 new cases
16. Southeast Sulawesi: 26 new cases
17. Central Kalimantan: 25 new cases
18. Papua: 25 new cases
19. DIY: 24 new cases
20. Maluku: 20 new cases
21. West Kalimantan: 18 new cases
22. North Maluku: 18 new cases
23. Bengkulu: 11 new cases
24. Lampung: 7 new cases
25. West Papua: 6 new cases
26. West Sulawesi: 5 new cases
27. Bangka Belitung: 4 new cases
28. North Kalimantan: 3 new cases
