BOLASPORT.COM – Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand gave his answer on the title of his most expensive player that is now over.
In November 2000, Rio Ferdinand officially won Leeds United’s most expensive player title after the Whites redeemed him from West Ham for 18 million pounds (about Rp. 384 billion).
Ferdinand held the title of the most expensive player in Leeds for quite some time, that is, 20 years.
However, in the summer of 2020, Ferdinand no longer holds this title.

Now Leeds United’s most expensive player is Spanish striker Rodrigo Moreno.
Leeds United bought Rodrigo Moreno from Valencia for 27 million pounds (about Rp 523 billion).
Ferdinand, who won six Premier League titles with Manchester United, has realized the costly transfers his former club made.
