Jakarta –
The government will distribute a 35 GB quota per month to ease the burden of distance learning (PJJ) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The process for entering student phone numbers is extended until September 11, 2020.
This is stated in the Circular of the General Directorate of Early Childhood Education, Basic Education and Secondary Education (PAUD-Dikdasmen) Number 8310 / C / PD / 2020 on the notification of the Internet Quota Program. This letter was signed by the Director General of PAUD-Dikdasmen Jumeri on Friday (8/29/2020).
“In follow-up to our letter Number 8202 / C / PD / 2020 of August 27, 2020 regarding the Internet Fee Program for Students, we hereby convey the following matters,” Jumeri wrote in the letter.
“The deadline for entering students’ cell phone numbers in the Dapodik App runs until September 11, 2020,” he continued.
Jumeri also stressed that the fee will be delivered in the form of credit. Subsequently, the credit will be sent to the cell phone number that was entered in the Dapodik App.
“The credit will be awarded based on the cell phone number that was entered into the Dapodik app,” he said.
Previously, the government provided free internet fees to students, teachers, students, and lecturers for 4 months through December 2020. This is to support the success of online systems learning or PJJ implementation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The provision of free Internet fees is based on a circular from the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) with letter number 8202 / C / PD / 2020 regarding the Program for Provision of Internet Fees for Students, which was signed by the Director General of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education on August 27, 2020.
There, Jumeri asked all Heads of Educational Units to fill in the cell phone numbers of the students through the Dapodik App. In particular, for active students.
“Assign all heads of education units to fill in mobile numbers for active students through the Dapodik app,” Jumeri wrote.
Jumeri said that the cell phone number must be filled out before August 31, 2020. He asked that the process be carried out properly.
“The filling of data at point a must be done before August 31, 2020. Therefore, we ask that you monitor the filling of data appropriately and optimally,” said Jumeri.
