Suara.com – The Ciracas police headquarters in Jalan Raya Bogor, East Jakarta, was attacked by a group of mobs on Saturday morning (8/29/2020). It is known that the attack did not occur just once.
The Ciracas Polsek was attacked once until a group of 200 people set it on fire on December 11, 2018. It decided to burn down the Ciracas police station and raided several vehicles parked in the area.
At that time the attack was carried out by the previous incident. Where there was a beating of a member of the Indonesian Navy named Komarudin (47) by several parking attendants in front of Arundina Shop, Ciracas, East Jakarta on Monday (10/12/2018).
At first, Komarudin, who was wearing an Indonesian Navy uniform with his son, was about to eat at a store near the Arundina store, Cirasas.
As he was about to park his motorcycle, the boy told Komarudin that the motorcycle’s exhaust was smoking.
When Komarudin checked the engine of his motorcycle, one of the parking attendants moved the motorcycle until it hit his head. As a result, the parking attendant received a warning from Komarudin.
Without receiving a warning, seven to nine parking attendants even allied themselves against Komarudin. This action was silenced by a passing member of the Indonesian army, Pratu Rivonanda.
Pratu Rivo even secured Komarudin and his son at the Paspampres Youth Center for KPAD Cibubur using a motorcycle.
The two TNI members then returned to the scene of the beatings to search for the perpetrator in the residential area. A parking attendant named Agus Priyantara was found and escorted to the Ciracas Police.
Unexpectedly, Agus’ arrest provoked emotions in a crowd of people. They went to the Ciracas Police Station to inquire about the previous incident but were not satisfied with the response given by the police.
As a result, they removed him by destroying the Ciracas Police Office.
At that time, Ciracas Police Chief Kompol Agus Widar was also the victim of the beating in the incident.
Kompol Agus reportedly suffered impact injuries to the stomach and chest. Due to this condition, he was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
Two years later, the Ciracas Police Headquarters was again attacked by a group of mobs on Saturday night around 01.00 WIB. About 100 people damaged the windows of the Ciracas Police Headquarters office, as well as official vehicles and private cars were also burned.
Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Nana Sudjana revealed that the attack began with the destruction and persecution of a group of people against various stores around Jalan Raya Bogor.
“This was done by an unknown group of about 100 people,” Nana said at the scene.
After carrying out the action on the road, a group of people also arrived at the Ciracas Police. However, his group still did not know who and what caused the attack.
Regarding the incident this time, the head of Public Relations for Polda Metro, Jaya Kompol Yusri Yunus, said that he was still investigating the relationship between the two incidents.
“We are still investigating this, we are still investigating,” Yusri said at the Ciracas Police Headquarters.
The perpetrators of the attack on the Ciracas Police Headquarters this time around 100 unknown persons. The attack caused the Ciracas Police to suffer a series of casualties.
The accidents in question were in the form of an official car of the Ciracas Deputy Chief of Police that burned, a damaged operational bus unit in the section of glass, the fence of the Police Headquarters that was demolished and broken office glass.
Furthermore, two police officers who were on patrol were reportedly injured as a result of attacks by unknown persons.
“The victim is being treated at the Police Hospital,” he said.
Currently, the central police are conducting a crime scene (TKP) for investigations.
