JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Two policemen were reportedly injured in a fire at the Ciracas police station in East Jakarta on Saturday morning (August 29, 2020).
Polda Metro’s Head of Public Relations Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said the two policemen were members of Sabhara and Pam Obvit.
“There were 2 victims who were back on the patrol road. The two victims, 1 member of Sabhara and 1 Pam Obvit,” Yusri explained as quoted by Kompas TV on Saturday.
Yusri further added, the two victims had blunt injuries.

He suspected that the two received a beating from a group of unknown men who had allegedly burned the Ciracas Police.
“We are still being treated for a hit from a blunt object. Now they are treating him at the hospital,” Yusri said.
It was previously reported that Ciracas Police, East Jakarta, on Saturday morning (8/29/2020) experienced a fire.
Police claim that the incident occurred as a result of unknown persons, numbering up to 100 people.
Until now, the police continue to further investigate this incident and conduct crime scenes.
