Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan says large-scale enforcement of social restrictions is not facilitated (PSBB) in the Capital region. Anies also banned Jakarta residents from traveling outside of the Jakarta metropolitan area.
The ban on Capital City residents from traveling outside Jabodetabek is contained in Governor’s Regulation Number 47 Year 2020 on limiting travel activities in the city, inside or outside DKI Jakarta.
“In essence, this restriction applies to all Jabodebtabek. Jakarta residents cannot leave. In Jakarta, the PSBB remains in place and there is no flexibilization policy allowing activities as before the PSBB,” Anies said at a conference on Press on Friday (5/15).
In article 4, paragraph 1, the regulation establishes: All business persons or actors are prohibited from conducting travel activities within and outside of DKI Jakarta province during the period of non-natural disaster determination to spread Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) as a national disaster. Furthermore, in verse 3 it is mentioned again: The prohibition on traveling outside and / or entering the DKI Jakarta province as mentioned in paragraph (1) does not apply to: a. a business person or actor who has a Jabodetabek KTP-el; and B. foreigners who have the KTP-el / permanent residence permit / limited residence permit Jabodetabek, with the target and / or areas that are in Jabodetabek.
Anies said restrictions on movement of these residents to suppress the spread of the corona virus. According to him, officers in the field already have a legal basis to control the movements of citizens who want to leave Jabodetabek.
The former minister of education and culture said the ban did not include leaders of high state institutions, members of the TNI / Polri, highway officers, Covid-19 driving officers, ambulance officers, firefighters, funeral officers and some things. that were excluded in the rules. PSBB
“Those who are excluded cannot travel automatically. They have to take care of a virtual permit, made through the corona.jakarta.go.id website, where there is an application form and they must complete with a certificate related to their work, related with the confirmation of RT / RW, also evidence of activities to be carried out, “he said.
Furthermore, Anies said that it is now a decisive phase in controlling the spread of the coronavirus. He said that since March 2020 his side had reduced community activities amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Previously, Anies published Pergub No. 41 of 2020 on the imposition of sanctions against PSBB violations in Handling Covid-19 in Jakarta.
Pergub Issue No. 41/2020 aims to make people more disciplined in implementing the rules on the PSBB. This decisive step is to reduce the amount of spread of the corona virus in the Capital City.
The implementation of PSBB in Jakarta has been carried out in two stages. The first phase is from April 10 to 23, while the second phase is from April 23 to May 22, 2020.
