Seven pimps and seven prostitutes were secured by police during a raid on a hotel in Gubeng, Surabaya. For the police, the pimp admitted that his men could serve five to seven more men in one day.

Kanit Jatanras Satreskrim Polrestabes Surabaya Iptu Agung Kurnia Putra explained that pimps benefit from fee distribution for commercial sex workers (CSW). PSK rates also vary from Rp 150,000 to Rp 800,000.
If a prostitute can serve up to seven clients in one day, Agung said pimps can make profits ranging from Rp.2 million to Rp.3 million in one day.
“His men serve between five and seven people every day, if their income is around Rp 2 million to Rp 3 million per day,” Agung told AFP in Surabaya on Friday (05/15/2020).
This income, Agung added, is an average income for a pimp. In the raid, his group got seven pimps, each of whom had a subordinate.
“A pimp one day so much income,” he added.
Previously, police raided an online prostitution crime from the MiChat app and secured seven pimps and seven sex workers on Saturday (4/25). Now, he has arrested seven pimps. While prostitutes have been released because they are witnesses to the victims.
Seven saffron pimps are Edwin Mariyanto (21), Selvia Andriani (21), Edi Wiyono (21), Akmal Muyassar (19), Diah Nur Aini (24), M. Rizky (21) Azis Haryanto (27).
