According to Syafrin, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government still adheres to the implementing regulations of the PSBB, namely the Minister of Health Regulation No. 9 of 2020 on the PSBB Guidelines and the Governor Regulation No. 33 of 2020 on the implementation of the PSBB.
Article 18, paragraph 1, of Pergub 33/2020 establishes that all the activities of movement of people and / or goods are temporarily suspended, except the fulfillment of the basic needs and activities allowed during the PSBB.

Meanwhile, the activities that are allowed during the PSBB are related to health and safety, in addition to meeting your daily needs.

“In accordance with the PSBB Regulations that are allowed are travel for activities that are excluded during PSBB,” said Syafrin.

In connection with this, Syafrin admitted that his party had coordinated with the Jakarta Police Traffic Directorate and the West Java Regional Police.

The police had previously allowed the community in Jabodetabek to make a local return to Eid al-Fitr 2020, but with a note of continued and obedient attention to PSBB’s prevention of the coronavirus.

The desired local return, namely, the homecoming that takes place only in the Jakarta metropolitan area. However, outside Jabodetabek it is still banned.

“(The local homecoming) may be, no problem if that’s the case,” said the head of the South Korean Police Traffic Corps, Kombes Benyamin, when he was contacted on Thursday (5/14).

Previously, the government strictly prohibited going home to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The policy went into effect on April 24 and ends on May 31.
