Distribution of 16,006 Covid-19 cases in 34 provinces, DKI registered 5,688 cases

YAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government is updating the data from the Covid-19 case in Indonesia on Thursday (05/14/2020).

This information was transmitted by the government spokesman for the management of Covid-19 Achmad Yurianto at a press conference in Graha BNPB, on Thursday afternoon.

Yuri said that, according to data collected by the government as of Thursday at 12.00 WIB, there were 568 additional new cases of Covid-19.

Therefore, a total of 16,006 positive cases of Covid-19 (in Indonesia) to date, “said Yuri.

According to the data he explained, new cases of Covid-19 positive patients were dispersed in 26 provinces, including DKI Jakarta, East Java, West Sumatra and South Sulawesi.

Meanwhile, transmission of the Covid-19 case to date has occurred in 382 districts / cities in 34 provinces.

Referring to government data, the majority of Covid-19 transmission cases were in DKI Jakarta with 5,688 cases.

Then followed by East Java with 1,863 cases, West Java 1,565 cases, Central Java 1,066 cases and South Sulawesi 840 cases.

The government also noted that there were an additional 231 patients who had been declared cured of Covid-19.

“Thus, there were 3,518 patients recovered,” said Yuri.

Then Yuri declared the sad news with the incorporation of the Covid-19 cases that had died.

There were 15 other patients who died after testing positive for the coronavirus.

“So the number of patients has died at 1,043,” said Yuri

The following is the distribution of Covid-19 cases in 34 provinces based on data compiled by the government until May 14, 2020:

1. Aceh: a total of 17 cases

2. Bali: 5 cases were added, a total of 337 cases

3. Banten: 13 new cases were added, a total of 593 cases
