YAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Indonesian Corruption Watch (ICW) investigator Kurnia Ramadhana said the alleged violation of procedures related to the return of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators Kompol Rossa Purbo Bekti to their original institution, the National Police , was becoming clearer.
The alleged violation of the procedure was seen when reassigning Kompol Rossa as KPK investigators.
“It is clear that the process of forced return of Kompol Rossa to its original institution carried out by the KPK leadership contains a serious violation of the procedures,” ICW researcher Kurnia Ramadhana said on Thursday (05/14/2020) .

Kurnia revealed that there were four points that made Rossa’s return to the Police violate the procedure.
First, Rossa’s work period, which was only completed in September 2020. Second, Rossa has never violated the KPK code of ethics.
So Rossa was handling cases at the KPK. Fourth, the leadership of the National Police had refused to return Rossa to the National Police.
Therefore, ICW urges the Supervisory Board to act on the alleged violation of the procedure.
“I feel that the Supervisory Board should impose sanctions on the KPK leadership for administrative violations of Kompol Rossa’s forced return process to the National Police,” said Kurnia.

Kurnia added that the reason for KPK’s leadership in returning Rossa to the National Police is also worth exploring, as Rossa is a member of the team handling the bribery cases of Wahyu Setiawan and Harun Masiku.
“Is there any connection to the process of forcibly returning the KPK Investigator to the National Police institution with the law enforcement currently underway in the KPK? Or the causality theory is because Kompol Rossa handled the case of Bribery of Wahyu Setiawan and Harun Masiku to be ‘ruled out’ by the KPK leadership, “he said.
