The administrative fine paid by McD is a maximum fine of Rp10 million.

Arifin said his party hoped that the incident carried out by McDonald’s Sarinah would become a lesson for all parties to obey the rules during PSBB to reduce the rate of spread of the coronavirus in the capital.

190 companies temporarily closed

In addition to McDonald’s Sarinah, sanctions are also imposed on companies in the capital that violate PSBB. Hundreds of companies were temporarily closed because they remained operational during PSBB.

According to the DKI Jakarta Office of Energy, Transmigration and Energy inspection as of May 13, 2020, there were a total of 1,145 companies that violated PSBB regulations. 190 of these companies were sanctioned temporarily closed.

“190 companies that are not excluded, but are continuing to carry out their commercial activities, have temporarily suspended their activities,” Jakarta Chief Human Resources and Transmigration Officer Andri Yansah said in his official statement on Thursday (5/14 ).

Meanwhile, the companies that were closed were scattered across five areas of the administrative city of Jakarta, namely 49 companies in South Jakarta, 47 companies in West Jakarta, 37 companies in North Jakarta, 32 companies in central Jakarta and 25 companies in eastern Jakarta.

Of the 190 companies that closed in the meantime, the impact of 16,594 workers was laid off.

In addition, according to the report, 287 companies are not excluded, but have obtained permission from the Ministry of Industry and continue to carry out activities. They have not yet implemented a comprehensive health protocol and have been warned.

Meanwhile, as of Wednesday (5/13) yesterday, as many as 3,998 companies in Jakarta have operated a home-based work system in accordance with DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan’s call to reduce the rate of spread of the virus. crown.

Of this total, 1,376 companies suspended all activities in the office. Meanwhile, 2,622 companies are only reducing some of the activities in the office.

Previously, Anies Baswedan had also issued the Governor’s Regulation (Pergub) No. 41 of 2020 on the imposition of sanctions against violations of the implementation of PSBB in the management of Covid-19 in Jakarta.

The regulation also regulates sanctions for companies or offices that are not excluded from operating and violates the temporary suspension of activities in the workplace during the PSBB, which is subject to sanctions in the form of temporary suspension of activities in the form of sealing of offices or workplaces, as well as fines of at least Rp5 million and a maximum of Rp10 million
