YAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has conducted a rapid test (rapid test) of the coronavirus (Covid-19) on 95,301 residents throughout the DKI Jakarta area.
The Chief of Health Resources, DKI Jakarta Provincial Health Office, Ani Ruspitawati, said 3,671 people were declared Covid-19 based on the results of the exams.
The positive rate for those taking the rapid test is four percent.
“A total of 95,301 people have undergone rapid tests,” said Ani at City Hall, which was broadcast on the YouTube account of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government on Wednesday (05/13/2020).

Meanwhile, 91,630 more people were declared negative after taking the rapid test.
The rapid test is a technique to assess the presence of antibodies against germ attacks in the body.
Rapid test results should not and cannot be used independently to confirm the presence or absence of a SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection that causes Covid-19 in the body.
To accurately confirm the presence of coronavirus in a person’s body, a smear test should be performed using the PCR method.
The rapid test results are reactive (there is a reaction to the presence of antibodies) or nonreactive (there is no reaction to the presence of antibodies).

If you have read that the rapid test results are positive or negative, it should be interpreted as positive or negative for the presence of antibodies in the body, not positive or negative for the presence of the coronavirus causing Covid-19.
