jpnn.comRIAD: After the flexibilization announcement, Saudi Arabian authorities through the Home Office were forced to choose a national quarantine decision during the Eid holiday, in an effort to suppress the spread of the new crown (covid-19 ).

Citing Al Arabiya, the national closure policy and curfew will be imposed May 23-27, which coincides with the day of the Eid celebration.

The policy was taken because it saw an increase in the number of coronavirus.

Data on Tuesday (5/12), the Ministry of Health reported that the number of Covid-19 deaths was 264 people, out of a total of 42,925 cases, while the number of recovery cases reached 15,257 people.

With these figures, Saudi Arabia is the country with the largest Covid-19 case in the Middle East region.

In fact, at present, Saudi citizens enjoy softer restrictions, including the resumption of economic activity that will continue until the end of Ramadan.

Residents were allowed to leave the house in the morning, eight hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time every day.

Other Saudi efforts to control the spread of the coronavirus are closing cinemas and restaurants and stopping flights.
