YAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government decided on large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) as a strategy to break the Covid-19 transmission chain in Indonesia.
The policy was approved by Government Regulation No. 21 of 2020 on PSBB in the framework of Covid-19’s management acceleration.
A total of four provinces and 72 districts and cities have implemented CBS. Some regions have begun to show a slowdown in the addition of daily cases, although this is not yet significant.
Amid the slowdown in daily cases that have not been significant, a speech suddenly seemed to relax the PSBB so that the economy could recover.
This raises questions in the public mind about the government’s primary focus on managing the Covid-19 pandemic.

The appearance of this speech seems to indicate that the government cannot wait to revive the economy amid the rapid transmission of Covid-19 that has not yet fully slowed down.
Kompas.com had the opportunity to interview the Head of the Presidential Personnel Office (KSP) Moeldoko to ask about the true attitude of the government.
The following is a special Kompas.com interview with Moeldoko.
In the midst of the Covid-19 broadcast, which was still going on, the PSBB relaxation speech suddenly appeared. How?
We are currently currently in an ongoing process to evaluate. At that time, the president held a meeting twice a week to see the effectiveness of PSBB in each region.
From there, our focus remains on focusing on the PSBB. So, acknowledging the results of being continuously evaluated, acknowledging various difficulties in the administration of PSBB.
We also compare with non-PSBB. From there, it is usual that we always build Scenario planning. If the situation is like this, approximately what we will plan.

In the future, if the situation worsens, if the situation is going to be mild, what kind of situation? How is the situation? What is your weight? Those scenarios are built like this.
So if there is a mild scenario then you might be able to run later or yesterday that relaxation had been expelled. But the president (Joko Widodo) also emphasized caution in allowing relaxation.
It must be carefully calculated as accurately as possible. Then you are not mistaken. There are at least three conditions or prerequisites for relaxation. That is not immediately allowed.
It is epidemiology. what we see Is there a reduction in the number of cases? suspect and death in at least 14 days, that’s what it looks like. So it can’t be without calculation.
Then we look at what public health is like. It is the number of tests and contact tracking increases over time The President wants 10,000 for the number of PCR tests (Polymerase chain reaction) That is what is being pursued now.
The following is also the proportion of public awareness in the implementation of health protocols. Does handwashing still work well? Without mask physical distancing not? This must be evaluated. Don’t be like yesterday when Sarinah opened physical distancingIt failed again.

The third is the health center. What is the health workforce like? We also face health workers who, because they are also positively affected (Covid-19), there are also PDPs and ODPs. Because it must be counted.
Do not allow the number of medical personnel to be reduced later. The EPP increased but the number of people (reduced). It’s no use. Everything is numbered. Continue increasing the ICU capacity as the ventilator.
At least 3 things: yes, what about epidemiology, how do we see public health, what about health facilities? That’s like a minimum number of basic requirements (to facilitate PSBB).
What is the reason why the Working Group issues a Circular that allows the reoperation of public transport? The public perceives it as a relief from PSBB.
Circular is more like warning What happens if we make a plan in the future? Circular is a different situation. It has nothing to do with relaxation.
If yesterday the Circular was the basis of the Regulation of the Minister of Transport No. 25 of 2020, it is really so huh. Let’s look at the great politics first. There are three major government policies. This I think everyone already knows.
All three are working, but the focus is on how to treat Covid as a priority. But the commercial problems of the community as far as possible are not closed. Everything if you close everything is problematic. Later, some layoffs will increase everywhere.

Organized transport regulation through the circular and the Ministerial Decree (Ministerial Decree) actually regulates how land, sea and air are properly regulated and remain guided by protocol.
Because? If not regulated further, problems related to logistical distribution, distribution of medical devices, distribution of PCR test results in those regions will not speed.
